Harold J. Chow, a former web developer and video game tester, currently works as an attorney. His law practice focuses on Estate Planning and Business Formation. Harold also writes freelance articles on competitive play in the online game Guild Wars for the GuildWars.com website.
Harold graduated from the College of Letters and Science division of the University of California, Berkeley at the age of 20 with a degree in Computer Science. After working for Integrated Systems (now part of Wind River Systems) as its webmaster, Harold consulted for E*TRADE, working for its Web Design Group. Harold then decided to go back to school, and in December 2001, he earned both his Juris Doctor and his MBA from Santa Clara University. Harold took the California Bar Examination in February 2002 and passed on his first attempt.
In his free time, Harold enjoys numerous hobbies and activities. Video games have played a major role in his life, from his first game of Combat on the Atari 2600 at the age of three and culminating in his work during and after college as a professional video game tester for the now-defunct 3DO, Tecmagik, and Digital Pictures. Harold also enjoys an occasional round of golf or a game of tennis or pool. For spectator purposes, however, Harold prefers baseball, basketball (especially college basketball), and football (especially college football). When he finds occasion to do so, Harold draws various imaginary subjects in pencil, or takes photographs of real subjects with his digital camera. Harold also listens to a wide variety of music and watches his favorite television shows and the occasional movie.
Harold attended Harker Academy (now known as Harker School) from kindergarten through 8th grade, and attended Menlo School for high school. If you went to school with him, drop him a line.
