		<description>&lt;p&gt;Well, it's the end of the week, and comments seem to be working in this area of my website.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I thought it was interesting that Ward Connerly, after fighting for the end of racial preferences in the UC system, retired from the UC Board of Regents in a week when the nation remembered Dr. King.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also found it eerie that Jerry Lewis appeared on Letterman this week as well.&lt;/p&gt;
