Running late

Harold makes some quick predictions on American Idol and other reality shows. He also talks about some of the recent changes at his website.

Well, by now you should have noticed that I’m using a new background for my website’s homepage. I figured it was time for a little update. Yes, I updated the nighttime version of the homepage as well. Yes, there are different looks for this site for the daytime and nighttime.

So here are my quick Idol predictions as for who’s leaving:

Men: David Brown and Travis Tucker. They didn’t really show up on Monday, whether it was nerves or whatever. I’d prefer it if Scott Savol would go, unless he improves his attitude a bit. He’s on Idol; he should smile once in awhile!

Women: Jessica Sierra and Vonzell Solomon. However, you could substitute quite a few names in there because very few of them made lasting impressions. The one who made a lasting impression that I’d like to see go is Mikalah, but for some reason people keep rooting for her. To me, last night she sounded like an out-of-tune Fran Drescher.

So the Amazing Race starts up again next week! I predict Rob and Amber will make it past the first episode. As for Survivor, I’m inclined to say that Angie stays around for awhile, since she’s now got the swing-vote position…provided nobody figures this out. And for the Apprentice…well, I think Street-Smarts John should be a favorite for the final two at this stage of the game. And now that I’ve gone out on a limb, I’m sure none of these predictions will come true. ;)

‘Till next time, when hopefully I’ll be coming to you via RSS!
