First update for June

Harold posts a quick update to kick off the month.

Well I hope everyone celebrated National Doughnut Day appropriately. If you see this posting and it’s still June 3, you may want to head down to Krispy Kreme for a free doughnut.

So in case you haven’t noticed, I have recently updated another of the background images for my website. Hopefully I’ll have other types of updates coming soon.

Survivor 7-1
American Idol 4-4
The Apprentice 2-4
The Amazing Race 3-4

With my reality show season finale picks, I think I proved that it really isn’t too difficult to pick the winners. I picked Tom to win Survivor: Palau because the storyline had focused on Koror’s, and really Tom’s, dominance of the Ulong tribe. Of course, the spoiler sites had already revealed that Tom would get as far as the jury, and possibly the final four, so that made connecting the dots much easier.

For The Apprentice, again, the editing of the show clearly painted Kendra as leaps and bounds superior to the other candidates by the time the final four rolled around. Note that even though Tana and Craig contributed to the Pontiac brochure, the editing insinuated that Kendra produced it all by herself.

Lastly, rumors of gambling websites receiving an unusually high number of bets on any one contestant or team of contestants should indicate who wins. However, the way that Uchenna and Joyce won does seem rather lucky, as Rob and Amber would clearly have won had the plane took off before Uchenna and Joyce could get aboard, or if Rob and Amber had found a Spanish-speaking cabbie.

Well, now that the summer has arrived, I’ll have to figure out something new to talk about here. Until next time…
