About my predictions…

So I recently submitted predictions of what guilds would win the monthly Guild Wars tournament for October. Before the deadline, Delta Formation [DF], a guild heavily favored to win September’s tournament, had yet to earn its 20th qualifer point. In fact, a lot of good guilds and hero battlers had yet to qualify. DF had only 1 QP at the time and barely any ladder activity on their main guild. Anyone who followed last month’s tournament knows about DF’s prowess, but since I don’t play during European primetime, I could not verify whether DF would actually compete this month. As a result, I decided to focus on competitors who had already qualified or were close to qualifying.
Besides, it did allow me to bring at least a little attention to BdV, a guild that has won some Guild Wars tournaments held by third parties in the past. They still appear to play with several of the same core members, so I thought they deserved a mention.
Now that DF has qualified, I would put them in the top 3, easily. But my original top three all make strong picks as well. 한시간 추가요 [초딩] (formerly RenO, apparently) still looks primed for a strong tournament. Rebel Rising may seem vulnerable, but even Superman could find ways to deal with Kryptonite. And we all know iQ dR will put on a good show as well. And with EW and vD back in the mix, it all adds up to an exciting tournament ahead, particularly if last month’s spoilers, vZ, can get its last QP before the tourney.
