Implemented, oversaw, and/or provided analysis for the company’s web-related projects.

Project: External Web Site Renovation
Designed and implemented new look and user interface for the corporate web site, http://www.isi.com/. Handled HTML, CGI/Perl, and JavaScript programming, as well as graphics for the site. Negotiated for content from the marketing department. Edited content for accuracy and higher marketing effectiveness before adding to site. Site designed to use server-parsed HTML to allow easier updating without the budget for a database-driven site, as well as to provide dynamic updates of information. Fill-out forms allow users to save registration information to a cookie file to encourage subsequent visits/feedback.
Project: Webinar
Designed and implemented an online seminar for the Company’s MATRIXX product under an aggressive deadline. Provided graphical work, as well as HTML, JavaScript, and CGI/Perl. After 9 months, this “webinar” continued to generate sales leads.
Project: Customer Support Site
Designed an extranet site for allowing customers to access patches, release notes, and other semi-sensitive information. Customers would access this secured portion of our web server with a login and password. Also assisted in setting up proxy host for securing look-ups to call request database, which would eventually be partially accessible to customers to look up the progress of their requests.
Project: Internal Sales and Marketing Web Site Renovation
Designed and implemented new look and user interface for the internal web site for the Sales and Marketing departments. New features included searchable employee phone list, push channels, and file upload area.
Project: Web Server Migration
Worked with IS department to transfer the company’s main web services to a new, faster machine. Assisted in selection of new server hardware/software, handled initial configuration of new server as well as transferring of files and web services. Upgraded pre-bundled Netscape 1.1 server to Netscape Enterprise 2.0. Performed benchmark testing to compare performance of new server to old.
Project: Internal Web Site Redesign
Revised user interface and site look for the main corporate intranet web site. Implemented on-line headquarters-wide anonymous suggestion box.
